Raised Initiatives Launch Pan-African Talks, Pan African Conference, and Mentor Plus to Empower young African leaders
Reforming Africa through Inspiration and Seminar for an Empowered Development, RAISED Initiatives, has launched a new project called Pan-African Talks.
The Pan-African Talks is a Raised Initiative’s event that is dedicated to propagating the African ideas, in a wide choice of topics ranging from culture, developments, science, designs, technology, and management that is typically in the form of short and powerful talks.
It is said to be a community of African people telling their own stories that resonate in their culture, who believes in the power of ideas to change the African narratives and ultimately attitudes that are inspired by truth and great thinking.
The ceremony which was unveiled at a conference held in zoom land in March had series of projects launched like the Pan African Conference and the Mentor+ designed to mentor young African leaders.
Global President and Co-Founder of Raised Initiative, Afena-Atta Rudolf who chaired the ceremony said it is time for Africans to tell their own stories uniquely hence the pan-African talks would provide the platform to share African values and ideas.
“It is time for us to change the narratives about Africa. the pan African talk would provide the avenue for Africans in their various endeavors to share their stories”. He said.
According to him, He said all the African countries where raised initiative is present shall commence the implementation of the Pan-African Talks, which shall be followed by the Pan-African Conference where a hosting country shall be nominated.
He further disclosed that this year Pan-African Conference shall take place in Ghana in the third or fourth quarter of the year.
However, The Liberian Chapter of the raised initiative would be the first to host pan-African talks followed by Nigeria and Ghana respectively.
According to Rudolf “The Pan-African Talk — Monrovia, Liberia which would take place on the 27th March 2021 shall for the first time host 100 young leaders from parts of Monrovia to not only discuss how to propagate the African ideas in a wide choice of topics ranging from culture, developments, science, designs, technology, and management but to engage Pan-Africanists to take practical initiatives that will build an empowered Africa”.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Chapter of Raised initiatives has presented to the Public its National Executive Council and members that occupy different positions.
The National Director, James Ukemeobong said that with the administrative set up of the Nigeria chapter all hands shall be on deck to ensure wider coverage of the raised activities in the country.
“With a great and promising strategic administrative structure on the ground, we believe that no regional area will be left out when it comes to execution of projects that will be in the interest of our great Nation and Continent at large”.
“Are you in Nigeria and you feel left out? Worry not, We have placed ministers in the 6 Geo-political zones that will be ready to attend to you and if possible work with you to see that we have a chapter in your state”.
“With our strong presence in 10 States( Lagos, Kano, Kwara, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Borno, Osun), and the F.C.T, Abuja”.
He, however, encourages Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunity to join raised initiatives.
“We believe our best days as an organization are yet to come. You can become a part of our great Journey by also getting in touch with us”. He said.
Adding that this is the second coming of Vibrant Pan- Africanist!
